These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Performs preventive and emergency maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems, vacuum pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and all converting equipment within the facility.
* Provides troubleshooting on equipment problems, i/e. motors, switches, panel control boxes, basic PLCs. Recommends and assists in repairs and corrective action.
* Monitors, schedules, and documents preventive maintenance on equipment. Researches and requisitions machine parts as required.
* Performs general maintenance of building and plant grounds.
* Work from blueprints and plans to repair, maintain and install equipment.
* Familiar with all folding, cutting, printing and ancillary equipment.
* Assist employees with repairs and diagnosis of equipment problems.
* Work with machine shop equipment including, but not limited to mill, lathe, drill press, welding, and cutting equipment.

* The physical demands required while performing the duties of this job include: frequent standing, walking, carrying, bending, stooping, climbing, grasping, reaching with hands and arms, twisting, talking and hearing. The employee is regularly required to stoop, kneel or crouch. Ability to lift up to 50lbs, carry 50lbs, push 100 lbs, pull 75 lbs.
* This position requires the incumbent to grasp objects utilizing manual dexterity including hand/finger coordination. Specific vision abilities required by this job include utilization of color vision, close vision, distance vision, and an ability to adjust focus.
* Must regularly utilize written and verbal communication skills, including active listening.
* Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals and heat and cold.
* Exposure to noise; must wear hearing protection and safety shoes.
