Hybrid Senior IT Engineer, Outpatient Imaging bei Precision Imaging Centers

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our team. This crucial role involves managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure across our multiple outpatient imaging centers, with a strong focus on radiology-specific applications. You'll ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our systems, and your hands-on expertise will be key to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Systems Administration: Manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, including virtualized environments (VMware), network hardware (FortiGate, Arista), and backup systems (Veeam).
• Radiology-Specific Support: Provide expert support for our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS), as well as speech recognition systems.
• Networking: Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot our network to ensure seamless connectivity and performance across all sites.
• Multi-Site Management: Travel periodically as needed between our various locations to provide on-site support, installations, and maintenance.
• Security: Implement and maintain robust security protocols to protect patient data and our internal network.
• Problem Solving: Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our clinical and administrative teams to understand their needs and provide technology solutions that improve workflow and patient care.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in an IT role, with a strong background in systems and network administration.
• Radiology Experience: Proven experience supporting IT systems in a radiology or outpatient imaging environment is a must.
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency with:
  • VMware for virtualized server environments.
  • PACS and RIS systems.
  • Networking equipment from vendors like FortiGate and Arista.
  • Backup and disaster recovery solutions, specifically Veeam.
• Preferred Systems/Knowledge:
  • Experience with one or more of the following PACS/RIS systems: eRAD PACS, eRAD RIS, Intelerad, newVue, Radpair, Fuji, GE AW, and MIMS.
  • Experience with speech recognition systems like Microsoft Nuance PowerScribe 360 or PowerScribe One.
  • Knowledge of integration engines like Mirth Connect or Corepoint.
• Travel: Ability to travel periodically as needed between our different imaging centers.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., VCP, Fortinet, etc.) are a plus.
