We are looking for a Control Room Operator Mechanic I to operate and perform maintenance on machinery as required. This role will be responsible for documents and records data for downtime, problems, temperatures, and production, including any information relevant to the respected area at our TomaTek plant in Firebaugh, CA.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assists the control room lead in the day-to-day operations and operates two or more control room systems within the department (Hot breaks, Evaporators and Flash Cooler).
- Ensures that product being produced by Evaporators and the Flash Cooler meet the specifications according to the Manufacture Standard Practices (MSP).
- Performs Cleaning in Place (CIP’s) and operates machinery following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintains all written production log sheets that are relevant to the respected area.
- Checks pump seals and cooling water as required, to ensure compliance of eliminating unnecessary waste.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 1 year of related experience and/or training in Evaporation or similar equipment.
- Knowledge in the operation of all control room systems: hot breaks, metering tanks, Finishers, Juice Tanks, evaporators, flash coolers and cold hold tanks.
- Forklift certification, able to lift up to 50 lbs., and able to read, write, and speak English to perform the essential functions.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, work extended hours and weekends during the fresh pack season, typically July to early October.
Compensation:
The wage is $23.97, based on experience and qualifications.
