JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing oilfield equipment and completing all paperwork in accordance with the current QA maintenance program and company policies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Responsible for the service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Nabors drilling equipment.
• Must be able to read and understand hydraulic schematics.
• Basic knowledge of electrical principles.
• Understanding of precision measuring equipment such as dial indicators, torque wrenches and electrical meters.
• Organizes and keeps equipment maintenance and inspections up to date
• Dismantles, adjusts, and repairs equipment according to maintenance specifications and repair manuals.
• Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
• Attends required training as deemed necessary by job duties, Training, Operations, Safety, Quality etc.
• Learns and becomes conversant with all company philosophies, policies, and procedures including safety, quality, operational, and environmental training.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
