American Crane & Equipment Corporation (ACECO) is seeking a skilled Electrical Shop Foreman to lead and oversee day-to-day operations in our Electrical Department. Department: Manufacturing - Electrical
Location: 531 Old Swede Road - Douglassville, PA 19518
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM | Full-time hours on-site
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications

What You’ll Do:
- Supervise, schedule, and direct daily operations of the electrical team
- Coordinate workload, resources, tools, and timelines to meet production demands
- Oversee training and development of electricians and new hires
- Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with all applicable codes and procedures
- Maintain shop organization and workflow to optimize output
- Participate in production meetings and collaborate with other shop foremen
- Support service department electrical needs, including emergent work
- Analyze and improve team performance using production metrics
- Review project schedules and budgets; recommend improvements and tooling needs
- Propose and manage department budget in partnership with the Plant Manager
What We’re Looking For:
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma required
- Completion of apprenticeship, trade school, or 5–10 years of on-the-job experience
- Proven experience leading teams and managing electrical work in a manufacturing environment
Skills & Knowledge
- Deep understanding of electrical code (local, state, national)
- Skilled in layout, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
- Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with tools such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, hydraulic pipe benders
- Proficient in planning, resource scheduling (Wrike a plus), and reporting
Preferred Certifications
- Journeyman or Master Electrician License
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- NFPA 70E, LOTO, Arc Flash, Forklift Operator, and CPR/First Aid

Work Environment:
- This is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll be exposed to machinery, noise, moving parts, and varying temperatures – PPE required. Must be comfortable working on ladders, elevated platforms, and in confined spaces.
