Become the welcoming face of Microsoft at our Puerto Rico location! We're seeking an energetic Lobby Host with a passion for technology to create exceptional first impressions for all visitors to our Guaynabo office.
The lobby host is responsible for the delivery of the Microsoft Customer Experience to all Microsoft visitors, the role is energetic and must transmit passion for technology ensuring exceptional customer interaction, leaving guests with a positive, professional and lasting impression.
- Location: On-Site. City View Plaza. Suite 107. Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday. 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Maintain professional and polite demeanor at all times (in-person and via telephone)
- Adhere to dress code guidelines
- Make eye contact when interacting with visitors
- Greet, register, and badge visitors
- Respond to inquiries about directions, local services, amenities, and building locations
Administrative Tasks
- Enter visitor information into registration management system as approved
- Collect emergency contact information when applicable
- Notify Microsoft staff of their visitors while maintaining confidentiality
- Arrange transportation services as requested
- Provide guest wireless access information
- Answer and direct phone calls/switchboard inquiries
- Enter and update service requests in work order system
Facility Management
- Ensure lobby and reception areas maintain professional appearance
- Monitor and ensure meeting rooms are clean, tidy, and functional
- Coordinate with cleaning providers for post-event cleanup
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manuals
- Assist with lobby maintenance issues
- Provide access to maintenance providers following EHS procedures
- Monitor and report technology issues to IT and Site FM
Security & Safety
- Monitor access to secured areas
- Contact security immediately for breaches or problems
- Initiate emergency procedures according to response plans
Support Services
- Manage incoming deliveries and courier services
- Support event coordination with business/IFM teams
- Brief concierge daily on events and special requirements
- Complete required reports (room usage, call volume, visitor data)
Job Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in client facing roles such as host, receptionist, workplace experience, ambassador, or related.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Friendly and patient demeanor.
- Empathetic approach to customers with technical problems.
- Willingness to go the extra mile.
- Basic to intermediate English proficiency.
