The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Maintains 24 hour-a-day accountability for all patient care and nursing activities on assigned outpatient unit. Oversees and directs unit activities including standards development, human resource management, assessment of resource needs and utilization, staff development and communication within nursing practice as well as among other disciplines and departments. Oversees all performance improvement activities at the unit level and participates in committees at all levels within the institution.

Full time 40 hours.

Seeking an individual with demonstrated leadership, clinical, and management skills, with a desire to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment. The nurse manager is responsible for managing, organizing, planning, assessing and monitoring services provided in the Infusion Center. Additional responsibilities include staff hiring, evaluations, providing education/training of staff for changes in treatments, policies or practices, quality improvement, staff engagement and strategic planning. This position is pivotal in managing the clinical and administrative functions of a rapidly growing area.  The work is dynamic, with flexibility and adaptability as key attributes for all team members. Must exhibit excellent communication skills, creativity, and the ability to focus on teamwork and patient outcomes.  Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team and collaborate with senior leadership is essential to success in the role.

MS required or with-in 5 years of appointment. 3-5 years of oncology and leadership experience preferred. Certification preferred.
