Job Description

Global Engineering Director has the global responsibility for strategy, innovation, development, and maintenance of related systems and components across all product lines and development centers companywide.  Responsible for team development, partnerships with suppliers, and infrastructure for world class product development. Ensures product development competencies and activities will maintain sustainable competitive advantage to grow market share and profitability across all regions worldwide.  Collaborates closely with Directors of Category Management (Supply Chain) to leverage our strategic suppliers for new technologies, innovative solutions, and additional resources to augment our development efforts in-house.

This position primarily works under the close oversight of SVP or VP Global Product Development for guidance and direction to fulfill the job responsibilities, especially on the major strategic issues/decisions related to new technologies and partnerships.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Formal education with a minimum BS in Engineering.  Masters or PhD preferred.
• 10-15 years of industry experience in the fields of product design and testing
