Description

Front Office Check-In/Check-Out Representative
Location: Coastal Health – Middleburg

Coastal Health is currently seeking a motivated, career-oriented Front Office Check-In and Check-Out Representative to join our team at our Middleburg location. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for our patients and visitors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors in person and by phone

  • Schedule appointments to optimize provider time and room utilization

  • Maintain patient flow by alerting providers of arrivals and any delays

  • Provide reassurance and support to patients by answering questions and managing reception area comfort

  • Maintain and update patient records and accounts accurately

  • Process payments, record financial transactions, and manage outstanding balances

  • Order and track office supplies and equipment as needed

  • Respond to emergencies and assist distressed patients appropriately

  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all privacy regulations

  • Follow office procedures and contribute to operational improvements

  • Support the overall team by completing related duties as required

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office setting

  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills

  • Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service abilities

  • Proficiency in scheduling, word processing, and time management

  • Professional demeanor with a quality-focused mindset

  • Team-oriented attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications


Minimum 1-3 years experience in the medical field preferred. Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Word Processing , Professionalism, Quality Focus, Team driven attitude, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and reliable transportation.
