Here’s a Glimpse of the Job

The Postdoctoral Research Associate performs research and development on laser spectroscopic ranging and imaging systems and writes scientific papers and proposals while also collaborating with the PI and graduate students.

Opportunities to Contribute

  • Performs research and development on laser spectroscopic ranging and imaging systems.

  • Analyzes research data and summarizes results.

  • Writes scientific papers and proposals for existing and new projects.

  • Collaborates with PI and grad students working on similar projects.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Physics or Applied Physics.

A well-qualified candidate for this position will also possess:

  • Research in laser systems and spectroscopy.

  • Excellent communication and presentations skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate based on the selected candidate's education and experience.

Please note: This position is grant funded; future employment may be contingent upon future funding.

Schedule: This position is a part-time role.
