What we are looking for:

Highly motivated individual who provides outstanding customer service by processing transactions in a timely manner. Receives payments in the form of cash, checks, and credit cards from customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greets customers in a courteous and professional manner, by name when possible. 
• Posts all transactions upon receipt in the ERP system to ensure accurate customer balances.
• Receives and applies cash, checks and credit card payments from customers.
• Logs daily cash payments received.
• Assists customers with questions regarding account balances.
• Prepares the cash drawer reconciliation and accounting records.
• Provides change to cashiers as needed.
• Prepares checks and currency for deposit. Approves courier deposit pick up.
• Processes gift cards as needed.
• Provides excellent customer service to guests and internal personnel.
• Creates credit memos for returned merchandise.
• Orders vault supplies to include deposit slips, money bags, rolls for registers, etc.
• Assists with supervising vault operations. 
• Approves cashiers end-of-day reconciliations and deposits.
• Submits end-of-month vault reconciliation to accounting.
• Ensures maximum approved balance is kept in vault.
• Ensures that vault cashiers are fully trained and have full knowledge of vault procedures.
• Reports to the Accounting Manager.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one-year cash handling experience.
• Previous check cashing experience required.
• Banking experience preferred.
• Ten-key experience preferred. 
• Bilingual skills a plus.
• Professional appearance and demeanor 
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. 
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds. 
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.

Location:

Position is for our 411 N. Zaragoza, El Paso, TX 79907 store.

Working hours:

Rotating schedule

Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Saturday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Sunday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
