Description
The Marketing Specialist position is a key employee in the Marketing Department. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the social media pages, email marketing, print materials, radio/television ad coordination, community sponsorships, etc. under the direct supervision of the Chief Retail Officer. Other duties include assisting in organizing bank events, editing website content, and creating annual reports.
Position Expectations
• Plan a social media campaign calendar, create graphics, and schedule posts.
• Create and coordinate monthly engagement giveaways on social media.
• Establish a product promotion schedule and create materials for each promotion.
• Update print materials, such as brochures and information sheets, as needed.
• Create and schedule marketing emails to promote bank products and events.
• Work with local radio stations to create monthly radio ads.
• Work with local news station to create commercials for television.
• Set up sponsorships with local schools and other local organizations.
• Assist with annual reports and shareholder letters.
• Keep coworkers informed of current specials and promotions.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing
• 2+ years of marketing experience
