This position may be based out of one of the following SC office locations: Columbia, Charleston, Greenville, or Fort Mill. The South Carolina Bridges and Structures Section Manager will be responsible for operations of a production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support. They will function as a project manager in addition to being administratively responsible for the section staff and technical service functions which will also involve leading and coordinating services with other sections. They will be involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviews, not only in South Carolina but also other in other Areas, particularly North Carolina and Georgia, as qualifications and schedules match. The South Carolina Bridges and Structures Section Manager will see that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through a pro-active project management system, and subsequently implement, monitor and support company policy. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
10 years related experience
A minimum 5 years project management experience
Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be plus)
Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills
