The Nursing Department at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine is seeking Adjunct Faculty. This position is for our online MSN program. We are specifically looking for candidates with experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Successful candidates will have a Master’s Degree in Nursing(MSN); a current APRN license in good standing with National Certification as a PMHNP; one year experience working as a PMHNP; and teaching experience with NP students preferred or precepting NP students or orienting new NPs.
This is an ongoing recruitment effort as needs change each semester.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- MSN
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience as a PMHNP
- Unencumbered license as a APRN in the US
- National Certification as a PMHNP
- Currently working in a clinical role as a PMHNP
- Team player
- Demonstrates an appreciation for the needs of NP students
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Flexibility
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- DNP/PhD/ EDD
- Experience teaching NP students
- Experience precepting NP students or orienting new NPs
