To provide transportation services to Lakeview patients, residents, families and facility guests including medical and programmatic transports, and various other miscellaneous runs on an as needed basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transports residents/patients to community appointments and activities as scheduled.
- Safely transports families and guests of the facility to hotels, airports, train station, etc. as scheduled.
- Participates in facility activities in between scheduled drives. These activities may include, but are not limited to maintenance activities, cleaning vehicles, etc.
- Inspects and maintains all vehicles before each trip to ensure safety of the vehicles (i.e. tires in good repair, windshield wipers operational, mirrors adjusted properly, etc.
- Completes vehicle log whenever vehicles are used.
- Complies with all facility administrative, clinical and human resource policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Skill, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Drivers must have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license and must pass a DMV check. Drivers must be at least 18 years of age. Drivers must be available to work flexible hours to cover transports at all hours. Drivers will be scheduled in advance for most transports, but will be expected to cover emergency transports if necessary. Any overtime must be approved by supervisor in advance.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Licensure: Current Wisconsin driver’s license. Clean driving record.
- Experience: Previous driving experience preferred.
