PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Payments and Treasury Management Support Supervisor oversees the Payments Specialists and assists the Digital Banking & Payments Manager with the development, implementation, and support of the Bank’s digital, online, mobile, payments and treasury management products and services. This role ensures seamless execution of payment and treasury management functions, adherence to regulatory compliance and plays an active role in Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) initiatives.


MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

  • Oversee the daily operations and responsibilities of the Payments Specialists.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to the team to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Develop and maintain escalation procedures and contingency plans.
  • Communicate recurring or serious issues to management and recommend solutions to improve customer service and response.
  • Assist in executing the Bank’s business plans and requirements, including the development of operational and technical specifications for digital, online, mobile, payments and treasury management products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to gather and define business requirements to evaluate and influence solutions.
  • Assist in assessing and reporting on the effectiveness and profitability of new and existing payments and treasury management products and services.
  • Participate in projects, including developing project plans and presentations, training, communications and other information related to product launches and enhancements.
  • Assist with the development and testing of the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan.
  • Provide support for critical functions during actual disaster recovery efforts to ensure continuity of critical payment and treasury management functions.
  • Investigate issues and collaborate with internal partners or third-party vendors to ensure issues are reviewed, communicated, tracked, and resolved. 
  • Respond to support requests received by phone, email, and the department's service request system. 
  • Develop and revise department procedures and intranet resources. 
  • Compile and present department productivity and product usage statistics. 
  • Perform additional tasks as needed, including bank integration projects.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field; or a minimum of 5 – 7 years in payments and treasury management operations.
  • Advance knowledge of banking regulations, NACHA rules, and wire transfer guidelines.
  • Strong customer service, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use good judgement and be discrete with confidential information.
  • Proven track record in risk analysis, compliance, audits and team leadership.
