POSITION SCOPE AND PURPOSE: Pulls and stages all materials for active production jobs. Manage first-in-first-out (FIFO) process and maintains accurate inventory amounts in IQ. Requirements include good counting and mathematical skills, experience retrieving and recording information in computers and a strong attention to detail.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Pulls and stages material for all active production jobs, while accurately measuring, weighing and/or counting materials and product.
- Scans all materials such as Drums, Buckets, Pail Kits and stage at each press for production at start of shift. Checks for first-in-first-out (FIFO) and corrects if there are multiple lots already scanned to presses from the prior shift.
- Scans material changes to and from presses and changes labels as needed to match quantities in IQ.
- Regular attendance.

- Works with Set Up and Cycle Technicians to address any kit changes that will occur during shift.
- Verifies correct materials are being used with staged material report 1st position.
- Stacks materials and product and properly puts away, tracks, picks and packs inventory and verifies component lots and quantities in the warehouse locations using IQ to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Periodically works as an operator in order to provide breaks to operators.
- Keeps silicone staging and area for pallets clean and organized.
- Primary responsibility for removing garbage and cardboard and emptying carts into dumpsters when full.
- Empties recycling into Gaylord, removes any foreign materials and covers, weighs and makes a new Gaylord when full.
- Returns materials and components to warehouse upon completion of work orders.
- Stocks materials from warehouse using first-in-first-out (FIFO) for the next shift.
- Notifies supervisor and leads of any mistakes or discrepancies found so they may be corrected immediately.
- Complies with all company safety and OSHA regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- The ability to follow oral and written instructions and to understand, speak and read English.
- Experience in injection molding preferred.
- Good counting and mathematical skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Forklift experience preferred. (Position must be SMC Forklift Certified before operating forklift.)
- Knowledge of IQMS desired.
- Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than hour.
