We’re looking for a Logistics Warehouse Lead to join our team at the Birmingham, AL plant. This role supports weekday logistics operations and acts as a key point of leadership throughout the shift. You’ll work directly alongside the Logistics Supervisor and step in as acting supervisor when needed. With a steady Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule and the chance to grow in a leadership role, this is a great opportunity to build your career in supply chain and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and distribute outbound shipment mail bags for distribution centers

• Assign trailers and dock doors to ensure timely outbound delivery

• Support loaders, pickers, and conveyor operators to drive shift efficiency

• Investigate and document shift incidents as needed

• Ensure order accuracy and inventory system updates are completed

• Monitor trailer availability and proactively resolve shortages

• Maximize trailer cube utilization for all outbound shipments

• Load/unload conveyors, organize products into storage, and scan into inventory

• Train and guide team members on warehouse procedures and safety practices

• Lead by example, spending the majority of time on the floor with the team

• Conduct physical inventory counts and support warehouse organization

• Fill in for the supervisor when necessary and maintain smooth shift operations

• Ensure all quality and food safety standards are consistently met

Requirements:

• Strong forklift experience, including High Reach, or willingness to learn

• Background in warehouse shipping/receiving and daily logistics scheduling

• Supervisory or team leadership experience in a warehouse environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn warehouse systems

• Forklift license or ability to obtain one

• A proactive, dependable, and team-oriented work ethic

• Flexibility to assist on other shifts as needed
