Job Title

SAFe Product Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage product roadmap; socialize and align timelines with relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Product managers and Business Owners to define priorities.
  • Manage and prioritize the program backlog, ensuring that the team is working on stories that maximize business value and deliver necessary fixes and functionality.
  • Coordinate different functional and technical streams with R&D teams to ensure end to end solution consistency
  • Manage the budget for area of responsibility including capacity planning with R&D
  • Facilitate the "3 Amigos" meetings to discuss acceptance criteria, address questions, and refine backlog items.
  • Work within the SAFe framework to plan and execute Program Increments and Iterations.
  • Prepare and participate in the main ceremonies that punctuate the development cycle: ART Prioritization Forum (decision on features priorities with Business Owners), PI Planning (communicate the product vision to the ART), Demos (make sure the feature owners and product owners are aligned on the acceptance criteria), PO Synch (regular checkpoint with Product Owners to get clear status and spot risks on the deliveries).
  • Assess complex problems with broad impacts, improve processes, recommend solutions and risk mitigation plans. Able to communicate complex information.
  • Identify external dependencies (outside of the train) and manage expectations from stakeholders.
  • Act as a facilitator rather than as a controller

Qualifications:

  • Certified SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner (PMPO) or equivalent SAFe certification.
  • Experience in product management within a SAFe environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles, particularly the SAFe framework.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in the payment industry is highly desirable.

  • Proficient in Agile project management tools and software.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong customer focus and stakeholder management skills.
