Essential Duties and Responsibiliites: The School Store Manager is responsible for all aspects and operations of the school store, including:

• Create a welcoming, positive, and friendly environment in the store 
• Maintain a clean and well-organized store and displays 
• Provide exceptional customer service to students, families, staff, and the public
• Work cooperatively and collaboratively with school administration and staff to serve the school and community needs
• Collaborate with vendors to design and order product
• Manage inventory, pricing, sales (in store and online orders)
• Display knowledge and management of the Square Register and Inventory System
• Manage and continuously update the online store site (inventory, photos, sales)
• Communicate with customers via email related to order updates
• Promote the store through marketing/advertising methods such as signage, school announcements/newsletters (BHS and middle schools) as well as social media (i.e. store Facebook page)
• Willingness to provide opportunities for in-person shopping during special school events (Open House, Conferences, home football games, etc.)
• Work with custodial staff to coordinate the transport of merchandise to/from football stadium for home football games
• Communicate with District Finance Dept re: monthly sales total and taxes collected
• Communicate with Staff about special staff-related sales/promotions
• Effective and responsible decision-making regarding pricing, sales, and clearance
• Assist staff, groups, clubs, teams with special order requests
• Assist students and families with custom letter jacket orders

Time Commitment:

• The Burnsville Spirit Store has traditionally been open at least twice during the school day and during specific after school events (open house, conferences, specific athletic events, etc.)  Specific times will be worked through in collaboartion with administration.  
• The store is closed on school breaks, non-school days, distance learning days, and finals week in June (last week of school year)
