MARKET SOLUTION MANAGER CONVENTIONAL MILKING SYSTEM & BARN ENVIRONMENT SPAIN

DeLaval is now looking for a Market Solution Manager to drive conventional milking system & barn environment business in Spain. This position is located in Madrid.

Purpose of role and key responsibilities

You oversee the product life cycle of all conventional milking system & barn environment range. You are managing global life cycle of the assortment including:

• Price set up
• Launching new solution and package adaptation and execution (together with local sales support team)
• Local implementation of usual marketing activities (together with sales support) to generate profitable growth; campaign, incentives, training
• Training plan & Competence hand over (to be coordinated with local technical & commercial team)
• Quality follow up

You are also expected to participate actively to the South Europe Solution management team and have a close cooperation with the market area representatives: sales team and technical team.

Qualifications and experience

To be successful in this role we see that you have:

• Academic degree in Agriculture Business, Animal Science, Agricultural engineer or equivalent
• Strong marketing experience with multiple product lines; 5+ years’ experience in marketing and or sales
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Customer/marketing mindset and the ability to evangelize this perspective within the company
• Self-motivated/starter, who takes ownership of the business
• Working through and with people in a cross- functional manner, must be a good team collaborative worker
• Effective priority management skills – able to prioritize between conflicting demands.
• Training capabilities, good in communication
• High level of autonomy, including rigorous time management capabilities: very good at planning
