What does a Forklift Technician do?

As a Full-Time Forklift Technician at Caviness Beef Packers, your expertise will shine under the guidance of our Maintenance Supervisor. In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for repairing, rebuilding, and servicing heavy construction and lift truck equipment, ensuring they meet the high standards set by manufacturers. You'll engage in hands-on tasks, removing and installing guards, motors, and major components while cleaning parts to maintain optimal performance. Your technical skills will be put to the test as you diagnose issues and evaluate worn parts, sourcing new or rebuilt components when necessary. After repairs, you’ll operate and test the equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly.
