Hybrid Anticipated LTS 8th Grade English Position bei East Stroudsburg Area School District

This long term substitute English teaching position will be available August 25, 2025 through approximately November 28, 2025.  The salary and benefits are in accordance with the current Professional Association Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement.

Candidates must possess a valid Pennsylvania English 7-12 Instructional I or II for this assignment.

Further Qualifications include the following:

1.  Strong academic background, deep knowledge of the PA Academic Standards  and District curriculum, and skill in data analysis of student performance information,

2. Highly developed classroom management and problem solving skills,

3. Strong technology background, with the emphasis on student learning and professional growth

4. Experience/orientation for Special Education/IEP process and requirements,

5. Ability to creatively prepare, communicate, and present effective instructional strategies with the understanding and empathy for students and the assigned level.
