Hybrid SAWMILL STACKER OPER - WALDO, AR bei PotlatchDeltic

Properly stack lumber into full packages ensuring that sticks are evenly placed and not protruding, and proper placement of Bolsters. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential functions satisfactorily.

The rate of pay for this position is $26.54 per hour.

Daily Job Duties:

• Operate console to maintain steady flow of lumber to stacking arms.
• Visually monitor the stacking process.
• Save and use as many sticks as possible to help with operating cost
• Ensure that all packs are Stacked properly.
• Help with Maintenance and PM Work.
• Follow all applicable safety rules.
• Work regularly scheduled shifts.
• Work scheduled overtime – as required
• Clean up during down time using air wand, rake, and shovel
• Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Provide Fire Watch duty – As needed
• Do what is asked by your Supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to work any shift (days, nights, weekends)
• Prior lumber mill experience preferred
• Able to work well in team environment
• Self-motivated, hard worker
