Position Overview:
Urgent Care for Children is seeking a dedicated, board-certified Pediatrician to join our team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality pediatric care, supporting our Nurse Practitioners, and ensuring compliance with state standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical oversight and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners to maintain exceptional pediatric care.
- Work in-clinic shifts alongside Nurse Practitioners to deliver direct patient care.
- Complete monthly quality reviews of patient charts in accordance with state regulations and company procedures.
- Evaluate, assess, document, and provide appropriate interventions for pediatric patients.
- Be available to Nurse Practitioners for consultation via phone or email.
- Supervise multiple Nurse Practitioners, offering guidance, feedback, and support.
- Execute and renew collaborative agreements as required by Alabama state law.
- Conduct site visits and performance reviews for supervised providers.
- Perform other duties as required by law or company policy.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Pediatrics.
- Active Alabama medical license.
- Strong pediatric urgent care skills.
- CPR and PALS certification (required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
