🚕 Are you keen to work somewhere that’s stimulating and friendly, with loads of opportunities for growth and plenty of freedom to make a real impact?
This could be the place for you!
We are looking for a Junior Product Manager to join us at INSHUR! We’re based in New York City, with offices in Westlake, CA, Dallas, TX, Netherlands and Brighton, UK and our company embraces a hybrid working model, allowing you to thrive in both collaborative office settings and the comfort of your own home 🏠. You’ll have the opportunity to work remotely while also connecting with your colleagues at our New York office at least 2 days a week, fostering a dynamic and supportive environment.
Reporting to the Product & Growth Lead, you'll be part of a close-knit team of four, who focus on rapid development and deployment of real products, collaborating across teams to solve genuine commercial insurance challenges and re-inventing insurance in exciting markets across the US 🇺🇸.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Product Manager, you will be the first dedicated to INSHUR’s expanding US business. Your mission is to transform a high-volume, manual brokerage and MGA into a modern, tech-enabled distribution engine. You’ll build tools that supercharge our producers, eliminate repetitive tasks for our operations teams, and delight our customers.
You’ll be working on:
- Drive the Product Roadmap: You will contribute to the product strategy and define the roadmap for our quoting, servicing, and workflow automation tools for our ABI business.
- Becoming a Commercial Auto Expert: You will deeply understand commercial auto distribution, carrier workflows, and broker operations, staying on top of market shifts and automation opportunities.
- Deliver Measurable Impact: You will ship technology improvements that directly improve quoting speed, automation, producer GWP, and service efficiency, monitoring performance and iterating relentlessly.
- Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will build strong relationships with producers, sales, operations, engineering, and carrier partners to ensure alignment and success.
- Solve Critical Business Challenges: You will translate producer frustrations and customer friction into high-leverage product opportunities that drive the business forward.
- Champion the User: You will continuously engage with ABI producers and account managers to map pain points, inefficiencies, and untapped revenue opportunities.
- Ship Products with Engineering and Design: You will define, spec, and ship products that effectively balance speed, usability, and scale.
We’d love to hear from you if you have…
🎯 While we prioritise aptitude and passion over a strict checklist of requirements, we've outlined a core set of skills we believe will lead to success in this role. To make things clear, we’ve categorised them into “essentials to thrive in the role”
- Product Management and Operational Solutions: You have hands-on experience in product management, delivering user-focused solutions to solve key operational challenges
- Thriving in Ambiguity: You are motivated by building from scratch, capable of defining structure where none exists, and unafraid to tackle legacy systems.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: You obsess over metrics, understand funnel levers, and track success through measurable outcomes like quote-to-bind percentage, automation rates, and cycle times.
- Compelling Communication: You can distill complex information into clear, simple terms and rally teams around solving important problems.
- Eagerness for Growth: You are excited to work in a fast-paced environment where you'll be laying the foundational product muscle for our next phase of growth.
You’ll love it here if you:

👏 Take pride in being accountable and owning your responsibilities.
🚀 Enjoy in a fast-paced environment where change happens quickly.
🔧 Are solutions-focused and driven to overcome challenges.
💪 Embrace resilience and adapt to setbacks with a positive attitude.
🧠 Are intellectually curious, constantly seeking to learn, explore new ideas, and not afraid to question and improve your understanding.
You may not enjoy working here if:
⏳ Prefer a more structured, slow-moving environment.
📝 Feel most comfortable when tasks and processes are clearly defined from the start.
🤔 Struggle with handling multiple challenges at once or adapting to frequent changes.
🚫 Tend to stick strictly to your defined role and avoid contributing outside of your responsibilities.
What to expect from the process:

- Case Study: A brief take-home task followed by a 45-60 minute video interview with the Senior Growth Manager and CTO to run through the case study and assess team fit.
We encourage you to ask questions about the role and the company throughout the hiring process. We believe that this is as much an opportunity for you to interview us as it is for us to interview you.
