Pay Range: $16.12 – $24.18 per hour | Based on Relevant Experience
Schedule: Full-Time | Hours vary based on departmental needs
About the Role:
The Lead Phlebotomist will oversee daily phlebotomy operations, providing guidance and support to team members while ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to established procedures. This role includes performing venipuncture and specimen collection, coordinating schedules, maintaining inventory, and serving as a liaison between staff and the Phlebotomy Coordinator.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the phlebotomy team, providing training and performance feedback.
Perform venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures according to protocol.
Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transportation of specimens.
Monitor supply inventory and order as needed.
Assist with scheduling and ensure adequate coverage for the department.
Maintain compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality control requirements.
Provide excellent patient service and promote a positive work environment.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Phlebotomy certification preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in phlebotomy; leadership experience preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on departmental needs.
