Work hours: Full Time, 40 Hours

Here’s What You Need
· Master’s Degree in Nursing required
· Two years of direct patient care experience required and
· Five years of current hospital experience required
· RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required AND
· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and
· CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually within 90 days required
· CNL or other professional nursing certification within 12 months required
· SSLP – Six Sigma Lean Professional upon hire preferred
What You Will Do
· Collaborates with physicians and/or APRN for services needed as well as all with other allied health care providers
· Partners with physicians by engaging in rounding to discuss priority of patients and patient care needs
· Assimilates and applies research-based information to design, implement and evaluate patients' plans of care
· Participates in interprofessional rounds, leading when appropriate
· Collaborates with care transitions team to facilitate discharges, RCB measures, review of excess days and patient throughput
· Facilitates the development, implementation, monitoring, and assessment of processes that impact patient outcomes
Uses benchmark data from internal and external sources to identify opportunities for improvement of care and patient safety
