The City of Greer is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Rental Leader in the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department. This position will assist with the functions held at the City of Greer Events Center.
Responsibilities: Assists with the coordination of activities and events for the facility/park, which involves setting up, decorating and executing parties and events; assists in the preparation for the event to include renting facilities, ensuring cleanliness and that rules and regulations are followed by participants; involves repetitious lifting and moving of tables and chairs in set-up and take-down of event; Interacts with the public by providing facility/park tours, greeting visitors, providing directions; Provides information to the public regarding fees, availability and requirements for use; may assist with the coordination of the events calendar; Maintains records and files on activities and events; Assists with Events Division inventory and related supplies and records.
Job requirements: High School diploma/GED. Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Hours: Hours will vary depending upon schedule of events; primarily Thursday through Sunday and evenings.
Salary: Minimum $16.51 hourly, dependent on experience.
