We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Unit Manager within our healthcare facilities. In this leadership role, you will oversee the operations of a nursing unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards. Pay Rate Range: $48 to $55 per hour

Pay Schedule: Weekly, every Thursday

Pay Period: Sunday through Saturday

Opening: (1) Full-Time - 7am-3pm

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the nursing unit, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with health regulations.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Conduct regular assessments of patient care practices and implement measures to improve patient outcomes.
  • Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers while ensuring proper documentation and continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Address patient and family concerns, providing support and education regarding care processes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and oversee compliance with safety standards and protocols.
  • Mentor and train nursing staff, fostering professional development and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Current and valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred with a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
  • Previous leadership or management experience in a nursing or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of nursing best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
