The Warehouse Supervisor is directly responsible for all activities of the employees reporting to them. The supervisor will be responsible for either the day or night team that operates the warehouse. Supervisor ensures the following: safe work environment, exceptional sanitation. Fair and professional treatment of all associates, quality and quantity of work performed and customer relations.

General Accountabilities include:
Provide direct supervision and support to shipping office personnel
Ensure compliance with all MRS policies and standard operating procedures
Address and resolve issues involving customers, carriers, and drivers
Manage Over, Short, and Damaged (OS&D) claims
Maintain accurate documentation for accessorial charges
Oversee employee performance and administer disciplinary actions as needed
Monitor operations to ensure alignment with benchmarking standards
Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues
Contribute to hiring and staffing decisions through feedback and recommendations
Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions held outside of regular hours
Take part in incident investigations and reporting processes
Provide coverage for other supervisors during scheduled time off
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Skills Required:
Proficient in basic computer operations and fundamental math skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Capable of both following and providing clear, effective instructions
Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate within a team in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable interacting with and supporting various levels of management
Prerequisites:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
Prior leadership experience in a warehouse setting preferred
Familiarity with RF-controlled inventory systems
Experience handling food products is a plus
