About the Role:

The Harbor House Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and overall management of the Harbor House facility located in Harborside, HB. This role ensures that the facility runs smoothly, providing a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for all residents, guests, and staff. The manager will coordinate with various departments to implement policies, manage budgets, and maintain compliance with local regulations. A key outcome of this position is to foster a positive community atmosphere while optimizing operational efficiency and resource utilization. The Harbor House Manager will also serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, addressing concerns and facilitating communication to support the facility’s mission and goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Social Services, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management, property management, or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to residential or community facilities.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, staff, and operational logistics effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in community housing, social services, or nonprofit management.
  • Certification in Facility Management (CFM) or Property Management (CPM).
  • Familiarity with local Harborside, HB community resources and regulations.
  • Proficiency with facility management software and financial management tools.
  • Conflict resolution and crisis management training.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Harbor House, including maintenance, security, and resident services.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate staff to ensure high standards of performance and customer service.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Coordinate budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation to meet organizational objectives.
  • Serve as a liaison between residents, staff, vendors, and community partners to resolve issues and promote collaboration.
  • Ensure the facility complies with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Plan and oversee special events, community programs, and resident engagement activities.
  • Monitor facility conditions and coordinate repairs or improvements as needed.

The Harbor House Manager will utilize strong organizational and leadership skills daily to coordinate multiple operational aspects and lead a diverse team effectively.
