The Order Filler plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer and store orders by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment. This role supports the outbound operations of the warehouse and requires strong attention to detail, organization, and a focus on quality control in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Picking Orders: Retrieve products based on order sheets or handheld scanner prompts, ensuring accuracy in product type and quantity. Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) as needed.
Packing Products: Securely package picked items using appropriate materials and label them correctly with shipping information and documentation.
Quality Control: Inspect items for damage, confirm order accuracy, and ensure packaging meets internal standards before shipment.
Shipping Preparation: Coordinate with the shipping team to organize outbound shipments; stage and label boxes correctly for pickup.
Warehouse Cleanliness: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace; follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA and company guidelines.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members and supervisors to meet fulfillment goals; communicate issues or discrepancies promptly.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and use barcode scanners
Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in order processing
Ability to work under pressure and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills and ability to read picking instructions
Strong organizational and communication skills
Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs regularly

Degree Required: None
Experience: 0–1 year in warehouse or order fulfillment preferred
Skills: Basic math and data tracking
