Do you have building maintenance experience in a nursing home, skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, or related healthcare setting? Do you have prior properties and/or facilities leadership experience and are searching for a new opportunity to utilize your knowledge and skills?

Requirements:
- Manage the center's on-site maintenance program, including essential mechanical, electrical, and resident care equipment, as well as maintenance staff.
- Ensure employee performance meets or exceeds expectations and periodic performance appraisals are conducted on a timely basis.
- Diagnoses technical and mechanical problems and facilitate repairs.
- Maintenance and beautification of facility and grounds.
- Oversees safety program and preventative maintenance.
- In absence of a security officer, may be responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, personnel, residents and all visitors
- Coordinates and oversees activities of outside contractors, trades people in construction, repair and maintenance of physical plant and equipment.
- Apply building and safety codes to facility situations and maintenance procedures to meet acceptable standards of quality.
- Makes prompt efforts to resolve all residents and staff concerns or grievances related to facilities and conditions under the incumbent's direction
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required
- 5+ years of properties and facilities maintenance experience required
- Prior maintenance experience in a healthcare setting with knowledge of skilled nursing facilities a plus.
- Prior experience supervising and managing maintenance staff a plus.
