About the Role:
As a Regional Warehouse Safety Manager, you will lead the safety and security strategy for multiple warehouses and or distribution sites within your assigned region. This role is responsible for implementing programs that reduce workplace injuries, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen the overall safety culture. You will partner closely with site leaders and the corporate safety team to identify risks, drive preventive measures, and serve as a key advisor and coach for local teams.
Location: Remote with travel. Relocation assistance is not available for this role. Our selected internal or external candidate must live in the Chicago, IL or Kenosha, WI area
Work Schedule: Monday -Friday 8AM-5PM, other hours based on business needs for emergencies and urgent items that need immediate attention
Travel Specific: 50% travel and subject to change based on business needs as we develop new startup locations across multiple states and 10+ site across the mid-west
Competitive Compensation: Attractive annual salary $100,000- $115,000 plus bonus opportunity. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of safety and security programs across assigned warehouse sites
- Collaborate with the corporate safety team to align site activities with organizational goals
- Advise and support site leadership on best practices for accident and injury prevention
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and corporate safety regulations
- Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits; follow up on corrective actions
- Provide hands-on support and guidance for site-level incident investigations
- Deliver and evaluate safety training programs, and mentor new safety team members
- Represent the organization during inspections or audits by external regulatory bodies
- Analyze incident data and safety trends to identify improvement opportunities
- Support the development and execution of safety-related budgets and capital planning
- Present safety reports, updates, and initiatives to regional and corporate leadership
