Description

CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit agency, is looking for a full-time Data & Systems Analyst.  Under the direct supervision of the QI Director, the Data & Systems Analyst collects, analyses, and interprets data to improve programs and policies. The Analyst will directly support the work of all departments with data management and analysis of population level and program-specific data. 


HIGHLIGHTS

  • Plans, develops, and implements a system for obtaining and providing data and information required by the agency for long-range planning and projections, and that which is needed for evaluation of day-to-day operations of the programs.
  • Process, clean, and prepare data for analysis and reporting; data check; document data management procedures (e.g., data dictionaries, business rules); monitor data quality, identify issues, and work with program staff to resolve.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to support program evaluation, quality improvement, and strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science or related field. 
  • MUST have experience processing, cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing large program or administrative datasets using statistical software such as Power BI, SAS, SQL, R.
  • Experience in managing databases and data collection analysis as well as interpreting data and reporting results.
  • Understanding of behavioral health program data and outcomes, including familiarity with reporting systems.
  • Ability to interpret data and translate into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and project management skills.
  • Work effectively with people at all levels and in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work with persons with mental illness in a caring and professional manner.
  • Valid NJ Driver’s License with acceptable driving record. 
  • Lived Experience: CSPNJ prioritizes hiring people who use their own life experience dealing with mental health/substance use issues to inspire and support others.
