Job Summary: 

Under general supervision, uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to maintain and develop pro forma analysis for recruiting.  Provide back up to the internal transfer consultant as needed.  Guidance is provided to understand differences in the business models and payouts structures.  Evaluation, originality and ingenuity are required to locate, select, apply and justify appropriate action for situations and circumstances that require a deviation from standard procedures. Resolves moderately complex problems.  Regular contact with senior management and other internal customers is required to build, and update.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gather information needed to build a pro forma comparison of divisional economics.
  • Prepare recruiting pro formas for or multiple divisions.
  • Update pro formas as required based on changes in compensation plans made by each division.
  • Supports the internal transfer consultant with maintenance, development, and illustration of pro forma comparisons of business models.
  • Reviews, evaluates and implements process improvements, as appropriate.
  • Reviews and evaluates suggestions for additional controls to improve pro forma delivery process. 
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Ad Hoc projects and analysis.

 


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

Knowledge of:

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel with the ability to manage formulas in large complex spreadsheets
  • Advanced accounting concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Accrual based accounting practices.
  • Advanced cost allocation concepts and practices.
  • Access/SQL optional, but not required for role.

Skill in:

  • Allocating costs and evaluating the impact on financial statements.
  • Analyzing financial information.
  • Performing mathematical calculations.
  • Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets and data bases.

Ability to:

  • Lead meetings and contribute to team efforts by ensuring all relevant information is included in the outcomes.
  • Implement changes to standard procedures when required by specific situations and circumstances.
  • Work independently, make non-routine decisions and resolve moderately complex accounting problems.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels.
  • Organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A) in accounting or finance and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience.
