Duties & Responsibilities | Position Primary Purpose Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, Office of the Dean, is seeking applicants for a full-time Faculty Development Program Administrator. The Faculty Development Program Administrator will be responsible for leading and supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing faculty professional growth and development. This position will play a key role in designing, implementing, and evaluating faculty development programs, resources, and activities that promote teaching excellence, research skills, career advancement, and well-being for faculty members. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, an understanding of higher education environments, and a passion for fostering a supportive academic community. This positions requires a proactive, collaborative approach to working with faculty and administration to ensure that faculty have the tools, knowledge, and resources necessary to excel in their academic and professional roles.
