Summary Of Role
The Treasury Operations Manager is responsible for marketing, selling and implementing the Bank’s Treasury Services products to customers and prospects; ongoing relationship management and product support for Treasury Services portfolio; monitors market condition/trends so the Bank will remain competitive in local market; ensure products, agreements and collateral is kept up to date, compliant and accurate; manage development of staff.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Works closely with Lenders to sell within existing client portfolio and new prospects. Network in the market to develop prospects and promote Vast Bank. Develop relationships with the Retail department to cross sell across those portfolios. Track all sales-related activities in the bank’s Client Relationship Management system, including sales pipeline and client/prospect calls.
- Manage existing Treasury Services portfolios. Perform annual reviews for customers and through portfolio to provide single solutions for customer support.
- Entertain clients at networking events, lunches, dinners and other planned events as needed, which may require early morning or evening participation. Attend trade shows, conferences and networking events to ensure the bank’s services are being marketed appropriately in the Tulsa and surrounding markets we serve.
- Manage requirements of new vendors and products including creating competitive bids, scoring bids with appropriate internal teams, proposing to executive management, managing process of agreement reviews and revisions, creating and implementation plans and all necessary documentation, developing marketing materials and user guides.
- Compare and update product fees, Account Analysis and ECR based on market.
- Responsible for creation of new agreements and periodic reviews of existing agreements. Work closely with Operations, Compliance, Retail, IT, Legal and all other appropriate departments to ensure product development is well rounded and vetted.
- Manage, guide, develop and train Treasury staff as needed. Create development and training plans for new and existing staff.
- Provide ongoing education to lenders, board and other appropriate staff on risk related to new and evolving products supported by department.
- Provide ongoing education of new and evolving products to customers and prospective customers via webinars, emails, campaigns and through relationship reviews.
- Provide Risk and Fraud management, monitoring and education to internal and external clients.
- Provide Board reporting and metrics relating to current Treasury Services customer base, report current and year over year income, originated and received items and anything further requested by the Board, Audit or Executives.
- Maintain SLA’s for the Treasury Services staff.
- Prepare and complete internal and external audits.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills
Experience
-
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Treasury services, banking/financial services.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other related fields.
- CTP Certification is desired.

In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature is a normal part of the day-to-day experience. Physical Requirements
Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on a computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
