We are looking for our future Publication Portfolio Technician (m/f/d) based in Blieskastel for a permanent contract.

In this position you are responsible to develop, maintain and update global publication structures including settings, global content assignment and business rules. You implement and execute product assignments per markets.

The Publication Portfolio Technician (m/f/d) builds-up, updates and reviews the publication structures. You maintain the concrete requirements in the global default context of the PIM system involving product assignment and regular testing. You will report directly to the Publication Portfolio Manager.

Your mission

• You maintain publication structure related to aligned target nodes of different publications
• You set up, adapt, run, test and document implemented business rules & settings and test & ensure the correct product assignment
• You assign publication relevant global default content (assets & texts) as well as maintaining and assigning the aligned localized content
• You have got a clear understanding of the requirements from the different Publication Portfolio Specialists
• You test and ensure expected outcome based on real data & information and in regards to the identification of to be reviewed outcome you transfer it to the Publication Portfolio Analyst to define needed actions
• You align the internal Publication team for the validation of new or updated structures, settings or business rules to transfer versions from main to approved workspace
• You test different publication types after the realization of new requirements and handover created or updated publication to the Publication Quality Specialist for localized delivery

Your profile

• You successfully completed a Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or a related qualification to understand the technical requirements
• You have got 3-5 years’ work experience in a related field or similar position
• You offer knowledge of Product Information Management to fulfil your daily tasks
• Product knowledge would be a plus for the position
• You have got a high affinity for technical products, data and digitalization of product portfolios for publication
• With your fluent English language skills (C1) you can easily communicate and collaborate with your team and international colleagues
• German and/or French language skills would be considered as an asset
