Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Culinary Services Manager to lead our front-of-house team, in the Independent and Assisted Living kitchens. This role ensures that meals are served efficiently, courteously, and in compliance with dietary guidelines and sanitation standards. The Culinary Services Manager plays a vital role in supporting a mission-driven dining experience by managing a team of servers and collaborating with the kitchen, dietitian, and healthcare staff.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and schedule dining room staff to ensure consistent, high-quality service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment
Monitor meal service for timeliness, accuracy, and adherence to dietary guidelines
Serve as the primary point of contact for guest and resident concerns during service
Coordinate closely with culinary and healthcare teams for seamless meal delivery
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
Oversee dining room supply inventory and assist with ordering as needed
Foster a supportive, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability and growth
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred)
2+ years of experience in a supervisory or lead server role, preferably in healthcare or senior living
Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and dietary requirements
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Attributes
Experience working in a wellness or healthcare dining environment
Familiarity with electronic ordering or point-of-sale (POS) systems
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
