As a Business Strategist, you’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to drive strategy, optimize operations, and deliver data-driven insights. You’ll play a key role in the annual strategic planning process, lead critical business initiatives, and influence how we grow, serve customers, and work smarter.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Initiative Development
- Collaborate across the business to define long-term goals and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Convert economic insights into operational plans that align with business priorities.
- Identify growth opportunities and performance trends to improve prioritization, streamline workflows, and guide business decision-making.
- Evaluate the financial and economic impact of strategic initiatives, including workforce planning, resource allocation, opportunity modeling, and incentive structures.
Operational Optimization
- Identify and analyze bottlenecks across sales, service, and operations to support more effective execution.
- Use data and performance metrics to assess the impact of implemented strategies.
- Deliver actionable insights that improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Communication & Strategic Advising
- Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, including executives and cross-functional teams.
- Influence directional decisions by clearly communicating complex data in a way that drives understanding and action.
- Support high-priority initiatives that promote profitable growth and competitive advantage.
- A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of business economics and operational performance.
- Comfortable analyzing complex data and translating it into clear, actionable insights.
- A skilled collaborator and communicator who can influence across levels and functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related quantitative field.
- 7+ years of experience in strategy, economic modeling, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in data tools such as Tableau, Python, R, Stata, or SAS.
- Strong skills in Excel and experience with SQL or other database management tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in econometric analysis, statistical modeling, and forecasting.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, and presentation skills.
