POSITION SUMMARY: This position provides support primarily to the English and Social Studies Department, but may also be required to support other building departments as needed.

- High School Diploma – experience preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Employee must have the ability to perform the following essential functions on a timely basis with or without reasonable accommodations. To successfully perform this position, a person must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Provide general clerical support to help teachers and the overall department work efficiently
- Copy, organize, and distribute resources and materials
- Assist teachers with the testing of students
- Supervise students as needed
- Maintain inventory and order supplies, materials, and equipment
- Receives phone and other messages, and communicates promptly
- Schedule teacher and department meetings
- Record and distribute department meeting minutes
- Assist with the planning and organization of student field trips

WORK SCHEDULE: 185 days per year and 7 hours per day;
