About the Role:
As an Equipment Diesel Technician, you will:
- Diagnose and perform minor and major repairs on heavy trucks and equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
- Follow strict safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Work in varying conditions, including dust, grease, noise, heat, cold, and inclement weather.
What We're Looking for:
- Four years of journey-level experience in heavy truck and equipment repair.
- Current possession of or ability to obtain within six months:
- Class A CDL License with Tanker Endorsement
- NC Emission/Safety Inspection License
- Air Conditioning Recovery Certification
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including walking, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must have own tools.

This job is Non-Exempt and is subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- "OR" an equivalency of 1 Year Heavy / Medium Duty and Equipment Experience or Heavy Truck / Diesel Technology
- 4+ years of documented Journey Level experience in heavy truck and equipment repair/maintenance
- Valid Driver's License
- Class A CDL License with Tanker Endorsement
- Emission/Safety Inspection License and/or Air Conditioning Recovery Certification ("OR" the ability to obtain within 6 months from hire date)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or higher in Automotive Systems Technology, Heavy Equipment & Transport Technology or "related" field
- 5 years experience in medium and heavy truck maintenance
- Certified NC Emission/Safety Inspection License
- ASE Air Conditioning Recovery Certification on Medium / Heavy Truck Series
- Series. NC Class A CDL License with Tanker Endorsement,
- Emission/Safety Inspection License and/or Air Conditioning Recovery Certification
