We are seeking a CBO Partnership Manager to join our team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations.

About the Role:

The CBO Partnership Manager plays a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with community-based organizations (CBOs) to enhance the delivery and accessibility of health care services. This position is responsible for identifying potential partners, negotiating collaboration agreements, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals to improve community health outcomes. The role requires a deep understanding of the health care landscape and the unique needs of diverse communities to foster impactful and sustainable partnerships. The CBO Partnership Manager will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate initiatives that address health disparities and promote equitable care. Ultimately, this role drives the expansion of the organization's network and influence within the community, contributing to improved service reach and member engagement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Social Work, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in partnership management, community engagement, or a related role within the health care sector.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with diverse community organizations and stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of health care services, community health challenges, and social determinants of health.
  • Relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with underserved or vulnerable populations in a community health setting.
  • Familiarity with grant writing and funding acquisition for community health programs.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to evaluate partnership outcomes.
  • Multilingual abilities relevant to the community served.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community-based organizations to support collaborative health initiatives.
  • Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities that align with organizational objectives and community health needs.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and coordinate with internal departments to implement joint initiatives effectively.
  • Monitor and report on partnership performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization and community partners to facilitate communication, promote goals, and resolve issues.
