Goodwill of the Heartland is now hiring a Retail Supply Specialist at our Headquarters in Cedar Rapids! If you're someone with warehouse or industrial experience, enjoys working on project planning, and ensuring stores have the inventory they need to succeed, this might be the role for you! This position works closely with retail leadership and external vendors to ensure every location is set up for success and our customers can find quality products at affordable prices.

The Retail Supply Specialist is responsible for the distribution, storage, and inventory of New Goods and Retail supplies for all store locations. This position will assist the Senior Retail Leadership Team (SRLT) with product selection, purchasing, and merchandising strategies to maximize sell-through and increase gross margin, and ensures all Retail locations receive essential safety, POS, production, and dress code supplies on time. The Retail Supply Specialist will also maintain an adequate inventory and safety stock level of all necessary Retail supplies and basic New Goods replenishment. This position works in conjunction with the SRLT, Retail Support team, and forklift drivers to ensure accurate and timely shipments of Retail Supplies and New Goods.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

1. Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations
2. High school diploma or GED required
3. One year employment in a Goodwill store, warehouse or industrial job preferred
4. Must attend Building Pride orientation within introductory period
5. Must complete all training per Required Training by Job Title spreadsheet

The Retail Supply Specialist has a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:00am - 4:30pm. This position is on-site at our Headquarters in Cedar Rapids, IA and has a starting wage of $16.61 per hour.
