The Warehouse Checker is responsible for accurately verifying, counting, and recording cargo and materials moving in and out of the warehouse. This position ensures that all shipments are documented properly and handled in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company procedures and customer expectations.

Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum one (1) year of warehouse, logistics, or customer service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus)
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scanners
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to travel as needed
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Work is primarily outdoors and within warehouse environments
- Must be able to work in varying weather conditions including heat, rain, and cold
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs
- May be required to work in confined spaces or elevated areas (e.g., warehouse racks, trailers)
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier items with assistance.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Manual dexterity to handle, sort, and label cargo with precision.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks (certification may be required).
- Visual acuity to inspect cargo and read shipping documents, labels, and inventory systems.
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions, including temperature fluctuations, noise, and dust.
- Ability to climb ladders or step stools to access inventory stored at various heights.
- Capable of sustained physical activity and repetitive motions for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Count, inspect, sort, and identify incoming and outgoing cargo
- Verify cargo against shipping and receiving documents (BOL, packing list, etc.)
- Record the storage location and condition of cargo using manual and electronic systems (tablets, scanners)
- Load and unload trucks and containers as required
- Mark, label, and measure cargo for inventory and handling purposes
- Maintain accurate written tallies and logs
- Communicate discrepancies or damages to appropriate personnel promptly
- Support inventory control through cycle counts and stock audit
