Are you looking for an opportunity to advance your career as a Desktop Technician? Our company is seeking a skilled and passionate Desktop Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for desktop hardware and software issues for our clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop hardware, software, and peripherals for users.
  • Provide technical support for desktop hardware and software issues for users.
  • Manage and monitor client workstations and servers.
  • Provide support for an on-site client.
  • Document all technical support activities in ticketing systems.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of all client equipment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent, and/or IT focused education or related work experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of PC and desktop hardware.
  • Excellent knowledge of PC internal components.
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Extensive equipment support experience.
  • Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
  • Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and guides.
  • Strong customer service orientation

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Chromebooks.
  • Experience with Google Suite.
  • Experience with K-12 environment.
