Position Summary
ConnectZ is a strategic, staff-led initiative of Girl Scouts River Valleys that partners with schools and community-based organizations across the Twin Cities Metro and Southern Minnesota to deliver high-quality, culturally relevant programming to youth—particularly Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). Designed to eliminate common access barriers such as cost and transportation, ConnectZ provides free Girl Scout membership, uniforms, and access to enriching experiences like camp, cookie season, and special events. The ConnectZ team builds trust and increases visibility by cultivating relationships with communities of color, ensuring more families see themselves reflected and valued in the Girl Scout experience. Through staff-led troops held at schools and community sites, youth build leadership skills, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging and sisterhood.
