Job Summary

The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting for an Executive Leadership Coach, Data and Impact Center of Excellence (DICE) for the Data and Impact Center of Excellence department of the Innovation division. The job of Executive Leadership Coach, Data and Impact Center of Excellence (DICE) supports countywide data leadership, assessment and accountability implementation, and systems improvement through coaching, professional learning, and technical assistance; enhances district and school capacity to utilize data for continuous improvement; and advances equity-driven leadership across schools and districts in San Diego County. ABOUT DATA AND IMPACT CENTER OF EXCELLENCE (DICE) DEPARTMENT The Data and Impact Center of Excellence (DICE) team at SDCOE provides guidance and district support in data, engineering, early education, research and evaluation, and professional learning. Our goal is to improve student outcomes and organizational operations by understanding the data and reporting needs within SDCOE and across our districts, using best practices for data flow and analytical report development, and providing data-related services and coaching. We leverage our employees’ expertise, knowledge, and existing services so that SDCOE can maximize capabilities around data work and scale our offerings countywide.

Requirements / Qualifications

This position requires the following Education and Experience and Certificates, Licenses, and Credentials:
 
Education and Experience:
Education:   A master’s degree in education, education administration, or other closely related field; and,
Experience: Four (4) years of increasingly responsible educational leadership experience, including successful service as a site principal. Experience leading data strategy and/or continuous improvement initiatives. Experience designing or delivering professional development, coordinating and overseeing educational assessments, and leading data literacy work.

Equivalency: A combination of education and/or experience equivalent to a master’s degree in education, education administration, or other closely related field and four (4) years of increasingly responsible educational leadership experience, including successful service as a site principal. Experience leading data strategy and/or continuous improvement initiatives. Experience designing or delivering professional development, coordinating and overseeing educational assessments, and leading data literacy work.

Salary Info

Certificated Management M052: $162,620 - $197,669 annually
